WELCOME
With over 20 years of experience in the construction and engineering industries — including a background in building surveying — I bring a practical, compliance-driven lens to bushfire assessments. I founded this business to offer something more personal: a service that’s professional, highly informed, and built on real conversations.
I work closely with designers, architects, builders, and homeowners during the early planning stages, ensuring every assessment is not just a tick-the-box requirement but a valuable part of the project’s success. I take the time to educate my clients, ask the right questions, and provide tailored advice that’s grounded in both industry expertise and real-world experience.
At Great Southern Bushfire Assessments, you're not just getting a report — you're getting a trusted professional who truly listens and delivers with integrity.

Quality and reliable service offering Accredited Bushfire Attack Level (BAL) Assessments for your project.

What is a BAL Assessment?
A BAL assessment is a process to determine the potential exposure of a building to radiant heat, ember attack and/or flame contact in a bushfire event. A BAL assessment is conducted in accordance with methods outlined in the Australian Standard 3959 Construction of buildings in bushfire-prone areas.

Are you building or renovating in a bushfire prone area?
